Anyone who reads this regularly knows I’m no fan of the Goons or The Mittani (it will be interesting to meet him in person in Eve Vegas). However, this is a really sad story.

Apparently one of the Americans killed in the attack on the US Embassy in Libya was the Eve player Vile Rat, diplomat to Goonswarm and an ex-CSM member. The forum thread can be found here.

RIP Vile Rat. I never knew you, but you did affect my Eve experience. I’m sure many toasts will be raised to you in Eve Vegas.
